What is (the difference between) Delta-8 and Delta-9?
Both Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC are found in the hemp plant. Delta-8 THC has a double bond on the 8th carbon chain of the THC molecule, Delta-9 THC has a double bond on the 9th carbon chain of the THC molecule. Though they both generate intoxicating effects, Delta-9 has a more prominent psychoactive effect, relatively known as the “high” effect.

Cannabidiol is a naturally occuring, non-psychoactive cannabinoid that offers only therapeutic benefits of the hemp plant with none of the intoxicating effects of its counterpart THC.
